NZ Surf n Stay is located in Whangamata, the gate to the Coromandel Penisnula.
The east coast of New Zealand, specially the Coromandel, is know for its white sandy beaches and friendly waves, perfect for swimming and water sports including surfing.
The harbor or estuary offer perfect conditions for a basic flat water lesson where you will learn the basics including ocean awareness, safety and the basic techniques on how to position on the board, paddle, stand up and turns.
For SUP surfing the beach break is a perfect starting point, with long rolling waves ideal for learning the basics of wave riding. For more advanced classes, the famous Whanga Bar is the place to improve your skills with long left walls ideal to practice turns.
Our certified coaches with over 10 years experience will make the right decision on what concerns the spot to go and the equipment to use.
